Vividred Operation TV Anime Announced

Over a month ago, Dengeki G's Magazine and Aniplex jointly launched a viral campaign for a new anime project, with teasing clues hinting at a bishoujo sci-fi action anime whose heroine would be a 14-year-old girl. This week, the veil has finally been lifted, revealing an original TV anime series called Vividred Operation, in the works at studio A-1 Pictures, with director / character designer Kazuhiro Takamura (Strike Witches).



As previously hinted, this upcoming anime will be set in a peaceful world where science has solved all problems. The story kicks off on an island teeming with natural surroundings, and an artificial island built by science. It follows five heroines - the main one being, indeed, a 14-year-old girl, who lives an impoverished life with her little sister and grandfather.

Aside from the few key visuals offered so far on the anime's official website (see them in the local gallery as well), there is also a Vividread Operation teaser trailer ready for streaming - though sadly void of any actual loli footage.
