The folks at Sony Pictures Television decided to make yet another big step in the anime industry, making their Animax channel go mobile. For starters, Australia and Canada will be the only two countries enjoying this (hopefully) quality service, via their own national mobile services. By no means a copycat of the television versions of the channel, this young padawan will have an independent lineup, consisting of Blood+, Last Exile, R.O.D. and Gankutsuou. Though this may seem like a bunch of weak TV shows, let me remind you that, well, it's a new beginning, and that we can expect some more lolicious interesting shows later on. I would gladly cheer for this initiative to be brought to more and more countries, my own included. Now, boys and (little) girls, hush hush to the nearest gadget store and buy yourself a new 3G handset with video potential. And make sure it's pink.

(I blame Terrence and Philip for this Canadian discrimination. As for Australia, I blame the pedo kangaroos.)

I dunno, Alvis in Last Exile lolilicious.

And depending on which ROD, there's a pretty good one in that one too. :3

... and Gankutsuou is a favorite of doom's, so that makes it a pretty decent line-up I guess. But I still don't get it - what's the point of watching animes on handheld gizmos? Is it because tiny screens make the [female] characters looks 10 years smaller?

The point is you can watch it in a pub, while getting drunk and while ignoring the retards around you.
