Right Stuf Inc./Nozomi Entertainment and Kadokawa Pictures USA are streaming the first episode of The Third: The Girl with the Blue Eye anime series for free in English at IGN.com until Saturday, July 1. The streaming promotes the first DVD's release on July 31. The Third tells the post-apocalyptic adventures of a "jill of all trades" named Honoka and her trusty tank-driving AI. They take on an assignment from a stranded man that leads to intrigue and one complication after another.

So if ye haven’t basked yet in the glory of this actually decent anime, here is the time to do it. Featuring a nasty chick with issues, some evil swordplay, and tons of cvasi-violence that would have been much better in the hands of a psychotic main character. Animekon rating for this show (though, obviously, we don’t have one yet and we are too lazy and too sober for making one up) would be around 6.5/10. As I said, decent.
