There is this tiny MMORPG called Maple Story, a game that I used to play a while back. Not too much though, since I already am obsessed and hooked on World of Warcraft (yes, I know, my social skills must suck badly). Maple Story is pretty simple and straightforward, it’s visual style is anime-ish, and its gameplay is easy to comprehend.

TV Tokyo recently announced that will fill up the timeslot currently hold by Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann with a new animated series, inspired by Maple Story, starting with October 7 (in Japan, of course), more exactly at 8:30 a.m. time. From what Nexon said (Nexon being the game’s Japanese maintainer), it seems that Madhouse will be responsable for the animation.

We shall wait and see what future holds.
