As a poor excuse for the lack of recent Animekon updates, there's a new website joining our "kon Network" at some point in the future, and coding it is currently eating most of my spare time. If you also happen to be a World of Warcraft addict (as if being labeled an "otaku" wasn't enough!), you might be interested in it later on... but for now, let's stick to Japan. Not exactly the most arousing place to be, if you ask me.

Sniffing a story from the Spa! mag, Mainichi writes about a 17-year old girl, Maki, who's been in this business for a couple of years already:

"Buyers pay extra if they see you take off your panties in front of them. We can barter together and I can get somewhere from 5,000 yen to 7,000 yen if I strip off my panties in front of the buyer", Maki tells Spa!. "You get more money for panties the longer you've been wearing them and the dirtier they get. Depending on the circumstances, there are some guys who'll pay as much as 20,000 yen for a single pair of panties."
