Apart from those
10 Animes Coming In 2008 briefly listed last month, another intriguing title is Mnemosyne: Mnemosyne no Musume-tachi. It's supposed to be a pretty dark themed anime, with plenty of horror / supernatural elements, and just
a tiny bit of hawtness on the side - as sampled on the newly opened
Mnemosyne website. Along with this notice,
ANN also dropped some of the names working on this anime (including Noein writer Hiroshi Ohnogi), as well as the story:
"The story revolves around a Tokyo woman named Rin, an assassin named Laura that is hunting her down, and the series of bizarre incidents involving angel-like creatures."
Mnemosyne is produced by Genco and animated by Xebec (a Production I.G subsidiary studio), and should start airing at some point in 2008.
