Blassreiter Anime From Gonzo and Nitro+

A Moon Phase report from yesterday picked up by ANN reveals a new anime project in the works at studio Gonzo and erogame company Nitro+ (makers of Demonbane). The show will be know as Blassreiter -genetic-, and it already boasts a pretty solid staff:

- director: Ichiro Itano (Gantz, Battle Royal High School)
- character design: Niθ (Demonbane, Neppu Kairiku Bushi Lord games), Naoyuki Onda (Gantz, The Animatrix - "Detective Story")
- script: Gen Urobuchi (Phantom of Inferno, Fate/Zero novels), Yasuko Kobayashi (Claymore, Shakugan no Shana).

A Blassreiter preview manga will also be published this December, to be written by Noboru Kimura (My-HiME, Cosplay Complex) and illustrated by Shū Hirose. But anyway... Gantz director, eh? Should be worth waiting.
