Gundam mecchanophiles, rejoice. As the first season of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 painfully drags on, like a drunkard trying to find the meaning of life in his own pink vomit, the second season is alredy being prepared by Sunrise for next autumn. Through some flyers sent out to Japanese bookstores, ANN (via Moon Phase) found out that Gundam 00's second season will start broadcasting in October 2008, on the TBS/MBS network. Should anyone still want to waste their time with it, after the 25 episodes of the newly premiered first season, that is.

Meanwhile, the second season of Hidamari Sketch was also announced at an event from a couple of days ago, to be aired in 2008 on the same netwerks mentioned above. Now that's more like it: school lolis never get boring. Nor old.
