The winter anime season has kicked off with a fluffy bang this week, bringing some promising new shows or sequels, albeit smeared with the usual school / comedy / whatever kind of generic anime crap. And as luck would have it, I stumbled upon a pack of clips for some of them, so I'll be listing them here if you're too lazy to check our dedicated
trailers section. Out of the bunch, the one anime I was most looking forward to is
Ookami to Koushinryou (Spicy Wolf), for which we now have two promo clips -
here and
here. And two
wallpapers.

Another show that got me intrigued is
H2O: Footprints in the Sand, and in fact I'm very tempted to write a first look after seeing the debut episode that was fansubbed yesterday. There might be more there than meets the eye... as in more than just school girls and pantsu shots. You can check the
preview trailer for yourself.

From the sequels premiering this month, I was hoping to find a pedolicious trailer for Minami-ke Okawari, but... no luck yet. However you can check out a couple of promos for the second season of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei -
here and
here (this one smells like a parody to the
Ghost Hound trailers). I only got to see a bit from the first season last autumn, but it was enough to convince me this show is made of hilarious win. Oh, and speaking of sequels, Aria the natural is back with this
Aria the Origination promo, if you're into dead-boring animes.

What remains is more or less the generic crap I mentioned in the beginning, as in promos for
Yatterman,
Persona: Trinity Soul,
Hatenkou Yuugi,
Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de (They Are My Noble Masters, or simply Kimiaru), plus some updated high-res trailers for
True Tears and
Rosario to Vampire, and finally a slideshow clip for
The Magician's Academy - it's one of
those 9000+ animes announced over the past few weeks... I seriously need more spare time for this madness.
