Sure enough, yesterday's hint was spot on: the third new North-American license officially announced by FUNimation this week is Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino, which they snagged from Marvelous Entertainment. The 13-episode series will be released stateside as a single DVD during 2009 (again, what the hell is taking them so long?!).

For the time being, FUNi's Gunslinger Girl 2 website only carries a brief synopsis and the cover artwork below, so we'll leave it at that, too. Till tomorrow.
