Media Blasters co-founder John Sirabella is
teasing the forumers from AnimeOnDVD with "an annoucement you never expected in the industry", which he predicts will be made 2-3 weeks from now.
Speculations are already running wild about all sorts of companies and takeovers, but without making much sense yet. So let's just skip to the point.
In a subsequent posting, Sirabella announced that Media Blasters has licensed the
Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan anime (Club-to-death Angel Dokuro-chan). Nice one!... If excessive violence and buckets of blood won't stop you from rolling on the floor laughing. We must have watched it dozens of times, as a warm-up to our anime sessions, since it's rather short - standing at only 8 half-length episodes. It's not yet clear if MB also licensed the sequel,
Dokuro-chan 2, as Sirabella only had this to say:
"well since we signed it... i guess announcing doruka-chan would be something to make you guys happy??? ok so there is an annoucement..."
Doruka-chan, huh? Publishers sure know their shit.
P.S. I knew there was one
obsessive anime song I was forgetting from this month's top! Pipiru piru piru pipiru pi...
P.P.S. Added more images in our
Dokuro-chan gallery.
