Checkpoint: North Star, Akiba-chan, Trailers

- The first episode of Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken) - as in the 1980s classic, not the upcoming sequels - is now streaming with English subtitles for free on IGN. The first 15 episodes (out of the total 109) can be purchased from IGN's Direct2Drive service.

- Akiba-chan, a new CG / stop-motion TV series about some otaku girls was announced to begin next month. Great timing. By the way, the Akiba killer was a really sick fuck.

- Last night we added two more Suzumiya Haruhi dancing videos, so here they are, in case you missed them: the first one uses chibi nendroid models (speaking of CG / stop-motion), and in the second one the SOS gang performs the Lucky Star opening dance. Funga!


- Another couple of trailers added today are for the "sci-fi moe" anime Amuri in Star Ocean - completely unrelated to our previous story about the latest Star Ocean game. Watch the short promo clips here and here.
