It seems usual these days, to adapt famous (in a way or the other) and big classic titles and turn them into an anime series. The most important, for me at least, is GONZO's Gankutsuou, a show that I actually enjoyed, despite the crazy graphics style, lack of imouto-chans and a cast of very few notable chars. Except for the Count himself, hehe, who actually won, if I remember correctly, AnimeReactor Best Villain award in 2005. Eh well, it is time for GANZO to continue it's series based on classic novels, with nothing less than the gay love story of Romeo and Juliet. We have an official website up, and several details have surfaced through different internet sources. The story will combine fantasy elements with some sort of medieval alternative setting, where our poor Romeo has run out of wanking material and eventually falls in love with, pay attention, a little girl of not even 16 years old. Well, I expect nothing bad from GONZO. Not really.
