ANS people are good at reviewing stuff. And even more stuff. Lots and lots of stuff. I really don't know where they stuff it, but they do a good job about that. Well, digging through the ooze, they found out that the latest edition of Newtype Magazine includes many, and I dare say MANY new details about Rebuild of Evangelion. And, as usual, let me quote those sweeties at ANS, with the proper related comments, this time:

- No longer constrained by technological limitation of 12 years ago, Director Hideaki Anno is said to be happy that he can finally recreate Eva "as he wanted it to be" in the beginning. (OK. What does every sane human being think when he reads that? Sounds like: "I can finally let my lolicious imagination go wild!")
- Production planning on the "first part" movie is now complete and now being passed off to the drawing phase. (Good, good. So it's almost as close as my bottle of vodka is to my pack of cigarettes)
- Anno is now working on the script for the second movie. (ZOMG!!!! HAXX!)
- The film project will retain many members of the TV series, allowing for the full chemistry that created Eva to work again. (This is a two-sided (astral plane) blade: It means, if you didn't like it, you won't like it, and if you did like it, you will like it. Sono pinchu desu?)
- The first movie will occur around the time of the events of the episode 5-6 2 part story arch of the TV series and climax with the climax being Operation Yashima involving Shinji's use of the positron sniper rifle. Anno says that because of technical limitations it didn't come out entirely as he planned the first time around and he wants to do his concept of the story right this time. Shinji Higuchi (director: Sinking Of Japan) will collaborate on the Yashima segments. (Climax, Shlimax. If the guy gets to work as he wants, we can see just how good he is.)
- New characters will begin to appear as of the second movie. (Imouto-chans, I hope)
Uniform designs will be the same as the "Kou Gekijouban" works. The Nerv and Seele logos will be changed to reflect a symbolism surrounding the garden of eden story and the tree / fruit of forbidden knowledge. The NERV logo will be changed to show a fruit with a chunk bitten out of it, the new SEELE logo will reflect the image of a fruit with a serpent (Satan) coiled around it. (Now this is a heavy and most profound twist. The uniforms. Newsflash: There is no Garden of Eden, no God damn fruit of forbidden knowledge that you bitches eat to get us into trouble, there is only one thing that matters when it comes to uniforms. High School Girl uniforms. Withouth that, you are bound to faliure.)

Anyway, I still wonder why so many people liked this Evangelion madness. Because I didn't. Oh yeah, the "italic" (about the gayness of that nation, later) r belong to us, if you are too retarded to notice.
