In what is sure to compete for this year's most idiotic police advice, Japans' Tochigi prefectural police issued the following advisory report (via
San'Plex), indirectly urging their peace-loving citizens NOT to greet
schoolgirls with
"Good morning",
"Ohayo" or whatever harmless greeting comes to mind.
"Around 16:30 an incident occurred in the city where a man walking on the street spoke to a girl primary schooler, saying “Good morning”, etc.
The man was in his thirties or forties, about 170cm, thin with short hair, and wore a black turtleneck, grey vest, cream trousers and carried a black bag.
When somebody you don’t know tries to speak to you, you should run away without talking to them, sound your crime prevention buzzer, and immediately report the incident to police, even if you are at home."
But would it be appropriate to greet a schoolgirl with
"Do you have a little sister?", I wonder... This reminded me of the most
epic "Ohayo" scene, from last year's lolicious
Manabi Straight anime.
