It should be safe to say that Tsukihime is the second-best known eroge from the ones developed by Type-Moon (Fate/stay night arguably taking the top spot). And it's also safe to say that another Tsukihime game is in the making, if we're to put our faith in a recent announcement-turned-rumour. Although the original information has since been retracted, the title "Tsukihime II" was listed alongside Mahou Tsukai no Yoru, as part of the projects detailed in the Type-Moon Ace magazine volume 2 - coming out in January 2009.


Further speculation suggests that this will actually be a Tsukihime remake, not a sequel. But until we get some official clarification, we might as well hope for a prequel full of lolis. We'd certainly hit that install button! Although judging by the early website dedicated to the next Tsukihime game, loli-himes are highly unlikely.

The other two games know to be in the making at Type-Moon are the aforementioned Mahou Tsukai no Yoru (website), and Girl's Work (website).
