Bollocks. No, we still don't know when
Suzumiya Haruhi 2 will start airing in Japan - or anywhere else for that matter - even though, earlier this week, it
looked like they had it nailed down for April 2009. But as it turns out, the only Haruhi g(o)odness airing on TV this April will be a
re-broadcast of the
original series from 2006, not the long-awaited, much-discussed, yet still-enigmatic
sequel.

Fear not, though: new details about the story and staff of Suzumiya Haruhi 2 are indeed coming, according to a short TV commercial for the March issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype magazine - coming out next week.
And, in case you forgot, next week will also mark the debut of the
Suzumiya Haruhi-chan no Yuuutsu web-anime chibi-series, based on the Haruhi-chan gag manga and the Churuya-san parody manga. Better keep an eye on
Kadokawa's YouTube channel, just in case.
