Bah, can't a WoW addict mind his own heroic dungeons on a Saturday night, without more news popping up? Fine then, taking a lucrative break here let you guys know that FUNimation has just announced 4 licensing deals, for the following anime titles:
The Tower of Druaga: The Aegis of Uruk,
The Tower of Druaga: The Sword of Uruk,
Dragonaut: The Resonance,
Blassreiter -genetic-, and
Bamboo Blade (
speaking of...).

Both Druaga seasons, along with Dragonaut and Blassreiter were licensed from Gonzo's parent company GDH (though I doubt that this alone will make them reconsider the projected
100 staff cuts), while Bamboo Blade was picked up from D. Rights. Aside fom a quick synopsis for each series, FUNi also provided the following release dates:
- The Tower of Druaga - late 2009 (two complete season sets)
- Dragonaut - late 2009
- Blassreiter - late 2009 (two half-season sets)
- Bamboo Blade - late 2009 (two half-season sets)
And that's not all! According to
ANN, even more FUNimation announcements are coming our way next week. So, yeah, stick around.
