Gintama Keeps Going... And Going...

There's still no end in sight for the three-digit-episode anime series Gintama (Silver Soul), as the recently aired episode 145 announced that the series has been green-lit to enter its fourth year of production, since the April 2006 TV debut. Therefore fans can expect to still be watching their favorite quirky samurai throughout spring 2010, at the very least. Unless, of course, you're watching it for various other reasons...



Animation studio Sunrise has also confirmed this story on its website, potentially raising some questions about Gintama's narative pace in the year to come. After all, the anime's storyline has been advancing faster than the ongoing manga, and I somehow don't see the anime taking the lead, story-wise.

But that's hardly a concern, really, and certainly not something to waste time pondering upon. Not when our new Gintama gallery offers such a splendid alternative.
