Nyan Koi! Manga Gets Anime

Another manga set to receive an anime adaptation is Nyan Koi!, as announced this week on the cover of the manga's third volume. The blog of the Flex Comic magazine (where the manga has been serialized since August 2007) offers no actual information about the anime version, other than a photo of said cover, so we'll leave it at that for now.



The original love-triangle comedy manga is authored by Sato Fujiwara, and apart from the schoolgirls pictured above, it also features a boy who is allergic to cats and, so, understandably hates them. Irony - and an empty can - strikes one day, however, and after breaking a "neko jizou-sama" (a statue of a cat deity), he is cursed to become a cat himself, unless he grants 100 wishes from cats. Whom, by the way, he now understands.

Well, cats or no cats, that last schoolgirl sure looks hawt.
