Steel Maiden Sarah Anime Adaptation?

I've only seen this report popping up on AnimeSuki's rumormongering forum, and even there it's by no means implied that any official announcement has been made yet. But hoping it turns out to be true, the shounen light novels Steel Maiden Sarah: Diamond Princess (Choukoujo Sarah) may well be getting an anime adaptation.



Steel Maiden Sarah is authored by Terada Tomonori, featuring illustrations by Ein, and so far publisher HJ Bunko has released 7 volumes of said novels. Even though I have absolutely no idea what the story is about, I see great potential in this one - if anything, for the non-stop hugging shown on the novels' covers. Volumes 3 and 6 strike me as particularly nosebleed-inducing...
