With a certain grain of salt from
Zepy's spotting, but with plenty of confidence from
ANN's report, it would seem that
To Aru Kagaku no Railgun - the spin-off manga derived from the
To Aru Majutsu no Index novels (animated last autumn) - will also be getting an anime adaptation. A certain
"F*ck yeah!" is in order, I believe.

If you're more confortable with the English titles, To Aru Majutsu no Index is also known as "A Certain Magical Index", while To Aru Kagaku no Railgun is often called "A Certain Scientific Railgun". The Railgun spin-off manga is authored and alluringly drawn by Motoi Fuyukawa, and so far there are
3 volumes compiled from its serialization in the Dengeki Daioh magazine.
The first details about the Railgun anime should pop up any day now on the official Index
website. But until then, you can keep yourself busy with our freshly opened
Railgun gallery.
