It's no mystery that the Japanese love Korea's live-action TV dramas, just as much as we love Japan's lolis (and that's like a LOT). So it should come as no surprise that another such TV drama is
getting an anime adaptation:
Iljimae, as it's curiously titled. Having set new heights in viewer ratings in its home country, the TV drama also began airing in Japan last November, and is now set to become an anime.

What kind of anime? When? And who is animating it? These are all questions with no official answer so far. But speaking of Korean soaps getting the anime treatment, let's not forget about that
Winter Sonata anime due this July.
Below you'll find a couple more random photos from Iljimae, featuring its lead actor Lee Jun Ki - who plays a Robin Hood-esque character during Korea's Joseon dynasty (think Japan's Edo period).
