Following its April 16 release on Blu-ray in Japan, the latest extended edition
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete will also make its way to the United States. According to an Amazon.com
listing (via
Anime Vice), the US release is set for June 2, 2009, carrying a rather decent price tag of $38.96 (or just $27.49 if pre-ordered from Amazon). And if you're worried about the contents, don't be: everything from the Japanese version should be there.

A slightly different, more official release date according to
Blu-ray.com is June 7, 2009. They also provide a thorough list of extra contents - reproduced below - while also confirming that the US release will feature both English audio, and the original Japanese audio with English subtitles.

On the Way to a Smile - Episode: Denzel was
announced a little while ago, and Square Enix seems to have picked the most boring character possible for this OVA. Denzel's story is one of 3 novelettes that make up the "On the Way to a Smile" collection, which takes place in that two-years gap between the FF7 game and the Advent Children movie.
