Gundam Gets New Manga Titles

With omega-franchises like Gundam, we may never be able to rejoice predict their eventual demise (not in our lifetime, anyway). But one thing that's always safe to assume is that there's still more in store for mecha fans. A hell of a lot more! We've had our share of stories about new Gundam anime films, English licenses, and even life-sized statues in recent months. So next up, it's time for some new Gundam manga titles.



The latest issue of Monthly Gundam Ace magazine from last week marked the beginning of two new manga series, respectively titled Kidou Senshi Gundam Senki U.C. 0081 ~Suiten no Namida~ (Mobile Suit Gundam Battlefield Record U.C. 0081: Tears of the Seas and Skies), and Kidou Senshi Gundam: Day after Tomorrow ~Kai Shiden no Memory yori~ (Mobile Suit Gundam: Day after Tomorrow: From Kai Shiden's Memories).

Furthermore, two additional manga will begin serialization in the magazine's next issue, out in Japan later this month. One of them will be Mobile Suit Gundam 00I, and the other one is tentatively titled Kidou Senshi Gundam: Zeon MS Shounen Yuugeki Tokka-hei.
