I was confused at first when I heard this: the official Genshiken website announced a second series that will start broadcasting in Japan this autumn. But then I got enlightened. This one it is not the same as the video mini-series or the spinoff series Kujibiki Unbalance (about which I think I told you about before - but my memory is playing tricks). According to the same website, Chika Ogiue, the new character that first appeared in the mini-series will be forever present as the newest member of this fine otaku club. I just hope all members will bring their little sisters. Little sisters... we'll put their name to the test.
If you didn't know already, Marvelous Entertainment is working on a PS2 action/fighting game, entitled Ikkitousen: Shining Dragon, based, of course, on the overflowing ecchi Ikkitousen: Dragon Destiny. Well, Famitsu Magazine posted on their website some new screenshots, showing us how to fight and show your panties at the same time. The Japanese release for this game is summer 2007, with no word yet (at least, not that I know of) about any European version. Thinking of all the fun I had watching the original show (the second is not fully subbed yet, and my moral side doesn't let me do illegal downloads until it is done), and of all the hankies I have wasted, this game is starting to appeal to me. God of War, say goodbye. These chicks are more hawt than Kratos.
Ready yer pencils, graphic tablets or whatever sticky tools you use to promote your drawing skills, because, check this out, the mascot for the next year edition of The Tokyo Anime Fair shall be decided after an open contest. We know that the producers are accepting submission from artists all over the world, regardless of gender, nationality, terrorist faction or natural disorder. The contest will start in May 1 and will end in June 29, with a nice 200,000 yen prize for the lucky winner. I suggest... Umm, no, I'd better not.
Well, after a VERY long time now, I am able to catch up on my news posting here, since my pedo comrade kindly fixed this site. And for starters, I would like to let you know that GONZO's Romeo screws Juliet is streaming online for free - with episode one airing between 21 April and May 5. If you are not from Japan, don't stick your finger up your ass yet, because you can watch it too, if only your Windows Media Player is up to date. The second episode shall be arriving soon, on April 28. All hail loli Juliet, and her pretty flat chest.
Animekon v2 will have to wait some more, unfortunately, because fate (and a fudged-up SQL server) played a perverted trick on us yesterday, when everything we wrote since November just vanished. Of course, real men don't make back-ups - they get pissed drunk, that's what they do did, after realising that months of postings have been lost... for a while. We did manage to save the lost posts from Google's unmanly cache today, so we'll be putting them back shortly slowly.
Update #1: All posts from 2006 are now back online, moving on to 2007...
Update #2: My eyes haven't been bleeding like this since I saw Fukuyama naked, in that opening shower scene from Girls Bravo 2. But after a week of dining in hell every single night, Animekon is finally back up to date (sort of). And now, it's time to recover the 450+ not-so-lost clips from TVkon... But first, if you'll pardon me, I have a LOT of catching up to do in the self-pleasuring department.
It's been two weeks since we last gave you a boner update on the latest anime trailers posted on TVkon, so if you've been lazy enough not to check for yourself, we now have the perfect reason to get you up... to date. That's right, you're looking that "perfect reason" right between its burning eyes below: it's the Shakugan no Shana movie (not the sequel), premiering this month in Japan and at a fansubber near you! Shakugan no Shana movie promo Ok, so it's actually just the promo for the Shana movie, but it should still be more than enough to give you a mighty boner. If not, maybe some of these recent trailers will: - Hayate no Gotoku! promo * brand spanking new - Lucky Star promo * brand spanking new, mo(r)e here- Kurau Phantom Memory episode 1- Ah! My Goddess 2 trailer #2- Ah! My Goddess 2 trailer #1- Bleach TCG demo video- sola promo- Bokurano promo- Highlander trailer- Vexille trailer- Kappa no Coo trailer- Genius Party trailer #3- Genius Party trailer #2- Nasu 2 trailer- N.Y. Yakusoku my @ss!
Gizmodo is into new gizmos. If, at the beginning of the month, we have witnessed a Gundam model priced at 1.35 million yen, now we can bask in awe at the sight of this little baby, a model worth no less than 30 million yen. What's so special about it? Well, first of all, it's made entirely of platinum. Second, it weights 1.4 kg, and third, it has diamonds stuck in his head. If you want to drool all over it's guns and wings, be sure to check the Swiss Basel World 2007 Expo, next month. Shiny Gundam Model: 12,000 USD. Platinum Gundam Model: 260,000 USD. 2 Terrabytes of Loli Anime: Priceless.
All I can say just now is WOOT! Guess what? Your all-time favorite loli tsundere will return to molest our asses with her bad attitude - The official Japanese homepage for Shakugan no Shana has announced plans for a sequel. Well, suffice to say that I am very curious about the new ways Nietono no Shana will be once more used to endlessly torment Yuji. Or the new and exciting ways melon bread can be munched down on Yuji's head. Or the truth behind Margery Daw's breast implants. And if Yuji is still a virgin. I would hit Shana.
What would you do if a hawt goddess would emerge into your room through the mirror? Hell, I know what I would do, i would make her grant me all sorts of wishes, from ending world hunger giving me absolute power over mankind to world peace world domination. Well, the good thing right now is that ADV Films launched their Ah! My Goddess 2 official website, inviting you to see the trailers (also here and here on TVkon), some screenshots, art, and other related thinks that may, or may not, bore you to death.
We have more Trading Card Games out there than little sisters, and that is bad. While some of them are good, others are better, the vast majority of TCGs fail to deliver innovations and are bound to boil forever in the soup of mediocrity. I shall not rant about which one is the best (or how much money I have spent over the years on Magic The Gathering), but instead, I'll let you know that Score Entertainment has opened it's official Bleach Trading Card Game website. Over there you can find some demo cards, a video (also on TVkon), plus some information about the game and about it's rules. As time passes, even more features will be added. The game is supposed to go on sale in May.
