Ever dreamed of being drawn close to a smiling Marilyn Monroe or feeling the muscles of fitness guru Billy Blanks? A Japanese firm on Wednesday unveiled a system that enables you to feel "the shape and softness" of three-dimensional images using a sensor-loaded glove. The "tangible 3D" system creates graphics that seem to burst out of a screen and has a glove that allows users to "feel" them, according to NTT Comware, the software development unit of telecom giant Nippon Telegraph and Telephone. Without any need for awkward 3D glasses, users could feel a far-away object as if it were right in front of them, NTT said at a virtual reality exhibition. The developer was exploring commercial applications which could include video phones, said engineer Shiro Ozawa. "You would be able to take the hand, or gently pat the head, of your beloved grandchild who lives away from you," he said. If a person linked to the system moves in another place, his or her three-dimensional image also moves in real-time. The user would feel as if they were being pulled along if the image moves while grasping your hand. The dead could also be "resurrected" by the system and museum visitors could "touch" precious exhibits sealed in showcases, the firm said.
And with this, my friends, the porn revolution has begun. No longer shall we be forced to rent all those expensive videotapes, or to bug our friends into lending us their precious wanking material - the future is upon us! I'm rendering a 3D shaped Hazuki-chan as we speak.
If someone is going to say that Suzumiya Haruhi is *NOT* a milk cow, I will shoot him in the eyes with my special ASOS Brigade panties dispenser. Not only was it announced, sometime ago, that Sony's PSP will benefit from a video game based on this over-hyped series, now it seems that even the older console products, such as the PS2, will be able to participate in the monster madness yet to come. The game, cleverly entitled Suzumiya Haruhi no Tomadoi (The Bewilderment of Haruhi Suzumiya), will be released somewhere in January next year, and will feature a full sized "Ultra Hero" demented Haruhi, all dressed in a fantasy outfit and ready to chop off boners wherever needed. Some would say this approach is a parody towards them JRPG games. Some others are sure that the game will suck ass. We'll just wait and see - and also hope, for the sake of all lolicons out there, that Yuki is a playable character.
San Diego, California, Tuesday, June 26, 2007 - JAST USA affiliate brand G-Collections, the leading publisher of Japanese PC dating-sim games in English, today announced the acquisition and beginning of development for Amorous Professor Cherry, an adult-oriented bishoujo ("beautiful girl") PC game from Japanese maker ZyX scheduled for release to the English language market. Amorous Professor Cherry is in the initial phase of development and is expected to see release in late 2007 or early 2008, and is now available for preorder at JAST USA (http://jastusa.com/) with rollout to other retailers coming soon. Further game information is available at the official JAST USA website as well. I'm pointing this out not as much for the game itself, but for the website. I bet many of you people are just dying to finger some virtual lolitas in a nice and safe environment, but you are finding it hard to fulfill your inner desires with all those Japanese walls of text critting you for OVER NINE THOUSAND. This website looks just like a good place to start funding your new bishoujo games collection - all in a clean, good ol' engrish language.
I'm a bit behind the news with this one - I spotted it last week, but I was probably too drunk to post it myself. Being a proud owner of a Nintendo DS (so far, I only have the black version, but my hopes are getting high for a pink DS soon), any anime related game tends to give me the bumps. The girls over at Eurogamer pointed out towards Fullmetal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy, a game that will be released in almost all parts of Europe somewhere in August. Epixx touch screen controls and all the other related imba shit. Some screenies on the said gaming site.
I hope Winry likes to play with that DS Stylus.
Usually, erogames are the ones who get first dibs on animation. Due to various reasons, all of them more than obvious. Here to break the ice is Enterbrain, a Japanese Publisher that recently announced the upcoming animation for Night Wizard, it's famous and quite popular tabletop roleplaying game. So far, we know that this show will be directed by Yƫsuke Yamamoto (the genius behind Welcome to the NHK), original character designs will be handled by Hiroyuki Ishida, while the actual animation will be mastered by Hal Film Maker (Angel Sanctuary, Slayers Premium).
Right Stuf Inc./Nozomi Entertainment and Kadokawa Pictures USA are streaming the first episode of The Third: The Girl with the Blue Eye anime series for free in English at IGN.com until Saturday, July 1. The streaming promotes the first DVD's release on July 31. The Third tells the post-apocalyptic adventures of a "jill of all trades" named Honoka and her trusty tank-driving AI. They take on an assignment from a stranded man that leads to intrigue and one complication after another. So if ye haven't basked yet in the glory of this actually decent anime, here is the time to do it. Featuring a nasty chick with issues, some evil swordplay, and tons of cvasi-violence that would have been much better in the hands of a psychotic main character. Animekon rating for this show (though, obviously, we don't have one yet and we are too lazy and too sober for making one up) would be around 6.5/10. As I said, decent.
Looking through these here pimped cars makes me all fuzzy inside. These itasha photos are part of recently published book, containing over 150 such cars and their absolutely sane owners. For your information (unless you are a familiar with these kinds of things), itasha (cars carefully painted with stuff depicting anime, j-video game characters or manga), actually translates into painful car. Nice, indeed. I wouldn't mind getting my sticky fingers on some of them goodies...

I can barely type on my keyboard, now that it's completely covered in super-sticky excitement. But I must! Because today, fellow lolicons, we celebrate one of the greatest days in the history in great loli days - the day we can finally download procure throuhg various means the final episode of Today in Class 5-2 (Kyou no Go no Ni). I swear to loli Jesus, if this show were 12 episodes long, it would kick the living crap out of Ichigo Mashimaro. But unfortunately we have to settle for 4 episodes... which is fine, too! (much like a flat chest). Now if you'll excuse me, our not-so-mutual friends over at Tokyo Toshokan are banging on my door with the final episode, and I don't mean to keep them - or myself - wanking waiting any longer. Booze - check... Napkins - check... Screenshooting-proggie - check... Popcorn - ah fsk it, just push play! Later edit: I am deeply, deeply disappointed by this final episode. But I'd still hit those girls today - or any single day - in class 5-2.
A sad day for all Death "hello, I'm shamelessly copy pasted from a 30 years old manga" Note, as VIZ Media sent a cease and desist letter to all the dudes and dudettes out there who were working their asses to get the fansubs going. This is coming right before the final episodes of the show, so for those of you who don't understand Japanese (obviously, considering that the fan groups will respect VIZ Media's demands), this is like... Miu-chan stopping a good old blow job just before you blow off. Here you can see a copy of the said letter, which I will try to resume in a few words: "HAI FANSUBBERS LOL! It has come to our attention that you, geeks, are illegally translating our crappy show, making it more famous than it should be. This means we lose money. And we like money. So here is a nice warning, stop bitching around, or we will perform anal rape upon you. With a spiked club. Your friendly VIZ Media bunch of people. P.S. If Death Note will ever become more popular than The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, you'll have yourselves to blame for the idiocy of future generations."
