Another worthy anime announcement this week comes by way of the September issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine, where in it is advertised that a TV anime series based on the Baby, Please Kill Me! manga is in the works. No animation studio or release date were revealed so far, but it looks like plenty of fun is to be had with this one.

A couple of brief reports on ANN this morning are relaying word about two new boys-love anime adaptations being in the works. One of them is Hybrid Child, based on a manga by Shungiku Nakamura, in which the titular "Hybrid Child" is an amazing "doll" that can grow if it is lavished with enough love and care from its owner. Neither fully machine nor fully human, the various Hybrid Child models develop strong emotional bonds with their owners.

So much for seeing that Dragon Age anime film any time this year... Or, as it's now titled, Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker has been delayed for an equally-vague 2012 release, according to its official website and first couple of teaser trailers that you can also watch locally - though void of any actual animation, unfortunately.

The release date for Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn's 4th Blu-ray & DVD volume was announced a few days ago by Bandai Visual to be set for December 2, 2011. That goes for all major territories - namely North America, Europe and Asia, including Japan, of course. Although Japanese fans will apparently get a chance to see early screenings of it in select theaters between November 12-25.

The TV anime adaptation Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, first announced to be in the making a couple of months ago, is now set to begin airing in Japan this upcoming Autumn 2011 season - so from October, most likely. Also, shortly before the TV anime's premiere, a single-episode OVA will be bundled with the 7th special-edition volume of the light novels on which the anime is based, releasing this September 22.

First a doujinshi manga, then a couple of anime adaptations, not to mention that PS3 / X360 video game... and now, a live-action film of Afro Samurai is officially on the way, as well, with actor Samuel L. Jackson producing it alongside The Indomina Group (a U.S. / Dominican Republic company) and Gonzo Studios - who of course adapted the 2007 TV anime series and its 2009 anime film sequel Afro Samurai: Resurrection.

A new Vocaloid character is coming our way (the first one for Vocaloid3, I believe), and it doesn't take more than a quick glance, to see that she's a damn cute one! She was created by the female illustrator CARNELIAN, with some sort of production input from Studio Deen, and was introduced last month on the "Vocaloid3 i-style Project" website. But now... the one thing she's missing the most... is a name. Any ideas?
