| Finally, we get some spicy details regarding the highly anticipated Kiddy Grade sequel (or Kiddy Generation, as some sources suggest). First off, the show will deliver it’s undisputed moe to drooling guys everywhere with the launch of a Pilot DVD, scheduled for top sales at the end of March. In Japan, of course, as we, the underlings, will have to wait for the *cough* fansubbs *cough*. So, production details, right from the mouth of ANS: Production details are as follows: Original Story: Gimik - Kadokawa Shoten Publishing, Direction, Storyboard, and Production: Keiji Goto, Supervision of Character Designs: Megumi Kadonosono, Composition and Scenario: Hidefumi Kimura, Mechanical Designs: Kanetake Ebikawa, Art: Studio Easter, Animation Production: Aslead, Project Producer: Atsushi Ito, Production Producer: Konori Hiramatsu. Official website: www.kiddygrade.com.
The story does not bold well for me though, because, as some say, two new main characters will replace the legendary (and totally cute) Éclair and Lumiere – Kufi-yu and Asuku-ru. The good part is that they are heroines. The bad part is that we don’t know their age just yet, but still, we can freely speculate.
Gankutsuou, the creepy-looking anime created by GONZO în 2004 (and directed by Mahiro Maeda), will finally recive it’s long awaited (by me) theatrical film version. I was actually wondering, these past few months (and after watching the show for like… the tenth time) when will this happen. Along with this production, which will be released "at some point in the future", a special, extra, and full of lolies manga will make its way into the desiring hands of readers everywhere (manga created by Maeda himself), being serialised this awful winter in the Kodansha'a Afternoon paper thinghy. I don't know about you, but this show looks really hard to get on stage. The artistic approach (more likely the mad/spooky approach) is unique. And Haydee is hawt. From the land of „stuff gets animated”, comes Hayate No Gotoku!, cleverly translated into English as Hayate The Combat Butler. What’s up with that! Well, it seems that, well, it gets animated. Into a TV series, nonetheless. Though details about production, staff, number of young girls featured in the show and other very important issues are scarce at the moment, it seems that this anime is scheduled for broadcasting somewere this year. This may be happening because Viz Media has licensed the manga for a grand north-american release, and the first graphic novel volume already made it’s debut on November 7. Japan benefits from 7 volumes so far. While you eagerly await the show’s premiere, fest your hormones with this pretty lady. We here at Animekon cherish this time of the year. Not because we get lots of (underaged) presents, but because it is a time for everyone to enjoy some free time with their friends. In our case, enjoy some quality time playing bowling with our l33t Wiimotes. Hell, I managed 5 consecutive strikes! So, it is our pleasure to wish you all good luck, many little sisters, a happy time this winter and various other things. Enjoy your loli hollydays! Because Suzumiya said so. (Yes, I would rape her). Pink. Lolita. Must… stop… thinking… about sono kono ano… That’s right, my obviously pedo friends, the tenth Zero no Tsukaima novel includes a happy little note that informs us about a second anime series. What can be more arousing interesting than an underaged witch with pink hair, a loli maid, and a random little girl with blue hair, glasses, that resembles so much with Yuki-chan from Suyumiya Haruhi? Doing this, and that, and various other things? You get the whole picture, I hope. DO NOT ENTER UNLESS YOU ARE PURE HEARTED! Why would GONZO do such a terrible thing? Out of nowhere, their managing director stated that the Mardock Scramble OAV, which fans were waiting for quite some time now, has been canceled due to “various reasons” that the company cleverly kept to themselves. This show was supposed to be an adaptation of the Mardock Scramble SF novel by To Ubukata, a novel that won 1st prize as the Japanese best SF thingy for 2003. There even was a three-book special edition (which, I guess, featured some delicious lolita posters as well), published by Hayakawa, that sold over 160.000 units. That’s almost as much as Japanese porn sells. When they first announced this production, GONZO assigned Ubukata himself to do the scenario, while Yasufumi Soejima, responsible for stuff like Animatrix or Gankutsuou, was supposed to do the directing. Like, directing the little sisters to their rightful owner(s). Me. Well, too bad, one less OVA to shower us with much needed lolicious content. I’m a very sad panda. I need a hug. Does the anime phenomenon go too far? No, it does not. Thanks to ANN, I have just found out that Gaza, a place where people are almost black and kill each other on a daily basis, due to several conflicts involving stuff I really don’t give a crap about, hosts little girls that like anime. While protesting against Hamas, against terrorism and various other things (like onii-chan doing sono kono ano to her while daddy was not watching), a young (but black, not yellow) girl was toying around with a placard hosting precious Haruhi Suzumiya, and bearing the text “Stop Killing the Children”. While I can obviously see the correlation between Suzumiya and children (and Mikuru is the first thing that comes to my mind… then Yuki), I don’t see how it will help kids not being murdered on the streets anymore. The protest was, it seems, a reaction to some dude shooting here and there, killing three children in the process. I have been ranting long ago about Americans not wanting foreign stuff to win their crappy awards. Well, it’s easy to do that – delay the title long enough so that it may not join the fight. Since it has been some time now since Advent Children (mmmm, children) has been released in Japan (and carefully avoided by most over-the-seas publishers), Wise Ass Uncle Sam has decided to finally release it. In Texas, too. Sony, a.k.a. the guys who got owned by Nintendo and who screwed up their next-gen thinghie by releasing an overpriced console (which DOES NOT have a Wiimote controller, hence you can’t run around bus stations, chasing little girls), will release, by popular demand, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Limited Edition Collector’s Set (I wonder how they will be able to stick this awfully long title on the DVD cover) on February 6, for only 49.95 USD. That’s the price of Twilight Princess. This piece of Japanese animation will include the short anime Final Fantasy VII: Last Order, ten postcards, an English movie script (what the hell for? Wanking?), a booklet with the main characters, and your average content from the Advent Children disc. Now now, where is my God damned Aeris poster? I need it next to my Miu-chan poster. And my Miharu poster. And my Hinata poster. And my *cough* Lady Aribeth poster *cough*. We are truly very sorry for keeping you away from your much needed pedo ratios for days on end. It must have been… like… three whole days since Animekon went down under, along with the server it’s currently hosted on. But have no fear, we’ll be moving it soon to a dedicated server so you can enjoy it 24/7. And speaking of 7, I sure hope that Santa isn’t mad at me for this, and (s)he’ll still bring me what I asked for Christmas this year. Mite mite! * hint: it’s not the pink fluffy… thing…and after shamelessly doing sono-kono-ano with its imouto-web-chan TVkon, for a healthy couple of hours or so, Animekon has just given birth to a new Trailers section. Here you will find all the latest clips of interest automatically listed from TVkon, so be sure to check it on a regular basis. The clips are mostly safe for work too, so you don’t have to worry about your boss / mom / over-aged girlfriend finding out about your deviant sexual preferences. Well, mostly… Anyway, be sure to check it right away, because I’m sure you’ll have at least one pleasant surprise sex in there. |
