Publisher Takeshobo has announced in its Monthly Manga Club magazine that the TV anime series (of shorts) Yurumates 3D will continue with a second season. A broadcast timeframe wasn't mentioned at this time, but given that the ongoing first season is planned up to June 26, it's possible for the second one to march straight on from July 2012.

Update: Indeed, it's starting this July, and it's titled Yurumates 3D +.

Release dates have been announced this weekend for both the Blu-ray and DVD release of Mardock Scramble: The Second Combustion, and for the upcoming theatrical premiere of Mardock Scramble: The Third Exhaust. According to the anime trilogy's official website, the second film's home video release is set for July 25 in Japan, and the third film will premiere there on September 29, 2012.

Over a month ago, Dengeki G's Magazine and Aniplex jointly launched a viral campaign for a new anime project, with teasing clues hinting at a bishoujo sci-fi action anime whose heroine would be a 14-year-old girl. Persona 4 has been making the news lately, on both its anime and gaming fronts. Anime wise, the official website for the TV anime series Persona 4 The Animation has announced that a 90-minutes-long compilation movie subtitled The Factor of Hope will premiere in ten Japanese theaters this June 9.

Old news, indeed. But for whatever it's still worth, a new TV anime series titled Mangirl! was announced earlier this month, as an adaptation of Kagari Tamaoka's four-panel manga originally titled Soukan! Comic Earth Star Henshuu-bu (Launch! Comic Earth Star Editors). The anime is being created by studio Dogakobo, whose upcoming projects also include the Yuru Yuri 2 sequel and Natsuyuki Rendezvous, both airing from July.

The official website for the upcoming OVA sequel Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu: Finale has just revealed the release dates for the OVA's four planned episodes. The first Blu-ray and DVD volume will be out in Japan on August 29, and the others will follow on a monthly basis - on September 26, October 31 and November 28, respectively.

The official Twitter account for last year's TV anime series Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (Haganai) has just revealed the existence of an unaired 13th episode for the anime. This new episode / OVA - titled Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Add-on Disc - will be released in Japan on September 26, 2012.

Reports from the Japanese blogosquid are showing a certain magazine scan announcing that this July will bring a proper TV anime series of Upotte!! - the ongoing web-anime that's been streaming on NicoNico (and on Crunchyroll as well) since last month. Hopefully this upcoming Upotte!! TV anime will be a brand new series, not just a rerun.
