| Feeling emo and lonely? Normal tissues just don't get the job done anymore? Worry not, Suzumiya Haruhi cums comes to the rescue once again! After a cosplaying session made of win, fans can now diversify their useless collection of disposable anime crap with some Haruhi tissues. There's a set of 20 tissue boxes selling on kamikau.com, for the insane price of $95... That's over nine thousand yen! Still, if none of those suit your perverted needs, you can also make your own layout with some applet thingie, but only using the images from the 20-box set. Fail.
The image speaks in a loud and clear, Darth Vader voice. My boss hasn't payed us this month due to the fact that... well, he might spend his money on underage Japanese whores. I DEMAND CASH TO HARVEST MY OWN WHORES DAMN IT!!! Fuck you, chief, may your new house crumble to dust. "And it was all yellow"... her skin, hair, fingernails, her lollipop, even her forbidden fruit - which, by the way, should definitely be a banana - and of course her pantsu, all yellow. I'll refrain from commenting Crypton's dubious chromatic choice (no worries, a pink one has to be on her way), and just leave you with a bunch of fanarts introducing the second Vocaloid 2 loli, Kagamine Rin. She will be voiced by Shimoda Mami, and this new Vocaloid version should be released next month. We demand more Miku & Rin yuri! Yuki ga suki. Or in plain Engrish, I fucking love snow! Today we already had a wee-bit of snow around here (for like... ten seconds), so I randomly thought I'd pull out my collection of pics with Yuki Nagato to keep me warm through the winter holidays, and share some of them with you. Go on, take a peep. You know you want to... Picking this month's loli was pretty easy, given Hatsune Miku's rapidly increasing popularity, after the release of Crypton's new Vocaloid2 singing synthesizer software (if that sounds too leet for you, just listen to the demo-songs on that page and you'll get it). So, for the first time we are welcoming a non-anime loli to our front page, although it's worth noting that Miku will get her own manga, starting with the January 2008 issue of Comic RUSH, according to a recent Moon Phase report. Prior to this, there were various conspiracy theories flying around, regarding Hatsune Miku's disappearance from some major image search engines (like Google and Yahoo Japan), and the deletion of her Japanese wikipedia page. But those are things of the past, so now we can peacefully - and vigorously - enjoy all those Miku pictures that found their way to our gallery. (napkin break...) Well, since singing became the topic of the day, we also put up a new poll asking "Do you ever find yourself singing anime songs?". And don't worry, we'll ask you about dancing, too, in a couple of weeks. But until then, feel free to pick the "Best anime dance", from the ones competing in our latest top. As a poor excuse for the lack of recent Animekon updates, there's a new website joining our "kon Network" at some point in the future, and coding it is currently eating most of my spare time. If you also happen to be a World of Warcraft addict (as if being labeled an "otaku" wasn't enough!), you might be interested in it later on... but for now, let's stick to Japan. Or better yet, let's stick it to Japanese schoolgirls - our never-aging nymphets of inspiration and fap. Those who like to keep a piece of the girls' *cough* purity close to their heart, nose, and various other parts of their body, can do so in many ways. Schoolgirls' panties, for instance, have become not only a traditional tool of self-pleasure over the years, but also an expanding business: from vending machines, to "burusera" (bloomer sellers), used pantsu are selling like hot cakes, at a rate which obviously raises some questions about how "genuine" they are... If you want to make sure you're getting the real thing, "hot out of the oven" so to speak, lately there's a new way you can buy such fluffy commodities in Japan. In order to bypass the burusera shops and get an extra two... sen Yen, some girls are using a most disturbing place for selling their pants to creepy strangers: the toilets for handicapped people in Tokyo railway stations. Not exactly the most arousing place to be, if you ask me. Sniffing a story from the Spa! mag, Mainichi writes about a 17-year old girl, Maki, who's been in this business for a couple of years already: "Buyers pay extra if they see you take off your panties in front of them. We can barter together and I can get somewhere from 5,000 yen to 7,000 yen if I strip off my panties in front of the buyer", Maki tells Spa!. "You get more money for panties the longer you've been wearing them and the dirtier they get. Depending on the circumstances, there are some guys who'll pay as much as 20,000 yen for a single pair of panties." Girls, drop 'em and gimme fifty! Japan is putting more and more effort into stopping the online rampage of illegal anime distribution. Just a few days ago, this very issue was the subject of a formal request issued by Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs ( MOFA), to the government of the United States no less. The news was picked up by ANN, revealing a bit more about what was discussed during the Japan-U.S. Trade Forum held on October 18: "[Japan's statement] included a request for the United States to help stop the unauthorized reproduction and distribution of Japanese animation online. Specifically, the formal statement mentions the spread of Japanese animation and other materials on video-sharing sites and peer-to-peer file-sharing networks.
(...) Despite frequent requests to remove unauthorized material from sites with user-submitted videos, the ministry says the fundamental problem remains unresolved for the foreseeable future. The ministry also says that the high legal costs and complex procedures of copyright infringement cases against peer-to-peer file-sharing are issues." "Video-sharing sites"? "Peer-to-peer file-sharing networks"? I have no idea what they're talking about... "Serious" websites usually post their downtime notices before it happens, but since this wasn't a case of planned downtime (and we're rarely sober enough to be serious), a late warning is fine, too. That said, after several days of blackout for our website(s), the crisis is still not over, so you may be denied access to our loli content until somebody at Customer Support moves his lazy ass and fixes the problem. I hate it when it's out of my hands!... Unless there's a loli holding it in hers. I never thought this day will come. Actually, I knew it would, I just didn’t want for it to happen. Japanese pop culture, including music, anime and manga, has, in the last few years, been increasing like a pile of Persian dead. And when some things get hyped, it is obvious that the internetz *will* host them, one way or the other. Mostly, illegal versions. Up until now, Japanese anime producers had an unwritten deal with the fan-subbing groups - they would keep their eyes closed at the free, yet unauthorized online distribution, until the respective show was licensed. In the same line of events, the fan-subbers would stop their work if the show got licensed. Up until now, only American distributors were known to take legal action against such things, but it seems that, sadly, Japan is starting to do the same. So what is exactly happening? First and foremost, Japan has revised its laws about downloading stuff via the almighty internetz. From what we understand, so far it was somewhat legal to own such stuff only for personal use, but from now on, that will not suffice anymore. Officials are trying to “fix” this, oh yes they are. A bit later, after just a few days, Gonzo sent a kind note to Shinsen-Subs (one of the better fun-subbing groups out there), asking them to GTFO and stop subbing their not yet licenced Romeo X Juliet. Or else. Ok so this is the first time EVER that a Japanese producer takes such an action against fan-subs. Can someone please expain to me what the fuck is going on here? Romeo X Juliet? I need that subbed DAMN IT! NOW! Thanks Anime UK News for ruining my day with this news, I’m now a sad pedo-panda. |
