Canaan - formerly 428 the Animation - is the upcoming anime based on SEGA and Chunsoft's 428: Fuusa Sareta Shibuya de visual novel Wii game, animated by studio P.A. Works (Ghost in the Shell: SAC - Solid State Society, Darker than Black). The modern-day story involves a detective, a young man, a virus researcher, a freelance writer and a cat mascot character, who who are brought together in the Tokyo's Shibuya district by bizarre events with worldwide implications.
