Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei is the third anime in the loli-horror series based on 07th Expansion's games franchise, once again animated by Studio DEEN. Billed as the "fateful final chapters", Higurashi 3 takes the format of a 5-episode OVA, releasing between February and August 2009.
