The TV anime series Dance in the Vampire Bund began airing in Japan from January 2010. It was adapted by studio Shaft, based on Nozomu Tamaki's manga about a loli vampire named Mina Tepes. Bored to death (?!) over the course of several millennia, she decides to create a world fit for humans and vampires alike. By using the large amount of cash her ancestors carefully stored since the beginning of their reign, Mina takes care of Japan's national debt, acquiring a place off-shore where she can create a district for vampires only. Terrorists and rival factions, however, do not approve, so buckets of blood start flowing.
