The complete second episode (out of a total of four currently planned) is being released on DVD in Japan on May 26, 2010. This is the second OVA adaptated by studio ufotable, based on Namco's fantasy RPG Tales of Symphonia. The story encompasses two worlds, each unaware of the other's existence. These worlds survive by the use of mana. The most important beings in these worlds are known as the "chosens". These chosens must go on perilous journeys while awakening the sleeping Summon Spirits, defeating the Desians, and restoring mana. Lloyd Irving and his friends Collet Brunel, the Chosen of Sylvarant, and Genus Sage, the smartest kid in Iselia set off on a journey with Kratos, a mysterious mercenary and Raine, Genus' sister. Along the way, they make more friends and discover the truth behind the World Regeneration.
