A trailer promoting the upcoming three-episode OVA, Negima! Ala Alba. Each episode will be bundled with a volume of the ongoing Negima! manga: the first one in August, the second one in October, and the third one in January 2009. This promo uses the project's theme song "Happy Material Return" and notes that the characters Kotarou and Ku:nel have joined the cast.

Highlander: The Search for Vengeance is an animated film from Madhouse and director Yoshiaki Kawajiri (Ninja Scroll, Animatrix: Program). The story centers on Colin MacLeod, the immortal Scottish Highlander, as he travels with the wise-cracking ghost Amergan in search of the immortal despot Marcus Octavius, who killed Colin's lover on the Celtic plains centuries earlier. The once great city of New York is now submerged under water, with only one dominant fortress towering over the sea, the fortress of Marcus Octavius. The girly anime Vampire Knight is about an academy whose students are divided into the "regular" Day Class and the "elite" Night Class. Yuki Cross, the adopted daughter of the headmaster, is one of the few people in the entire school who knows that the Night Class students are vampires.

World Destruction is an "apocalypse impending" RPG for the Nintendo DS published by SEGA, and at the same time an anime series based on the game - which is a traditional RPG with turn-based combat and giant bosses, developed by Image Epoch (Luminous Arc), and reuniting three Xenogears staffers. The game centers on a youth named Kirie Irunisu who secretly possesses the power to destroy the world. He is forced to join a party that aims not to save the world, but to eradicate it and start anew. The story also has a main heroine named Morute Ashera, who plays a bigger role in the anime version.

An oh-so-brief and unrevealing trailer for the special episode Clannad: Tomoyo-Hen (Tomoyo Chapter), to be released with the final DVD volume of the anime series based on Key's visual novel. This episode is set in a world separate from the original storyline, and its plot revolves around a path where Tomoya is dating Sakagami Tomoyo.

The Gundam MS IGLOO 2: Gravity's Warfront (Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO 2: Juuryoku Sensen) is a 3D CG mecha OVA anime, sequel to the earlier Gundam MS IGLOO film series and video series. The new MS IGLOO 2 project will present ground combat from the opposing Earth Federation side, unlike the prequels which focused of the Zeon forces (the antagonists of the One-Year War of the First Gundam series).
