Gegege no Kitarou: Nihon Bakuretsu!! will celebrate 40 years of Gegege'ing since the original TV series, but ironically it's the first full-length animated movie in the franchise, following several anime series and shorts. And that's not counting the two live-action films, 2007 and 2008. The movie will have 6 slightly-different versions, one for each region of Japan, and it should premiere in December 2008.
